Mirror: continued?

15 April 2009

A friend of mine, Lark, heard someone say something interesting about self-esteem and self-image. It was so beautiful that I am going to borrow it without permission. I am sure no one will mind.

Every time you say that you aren’t good enough, that no one loves you… every time you say you are ugly, not skinny enough, not fat enough, not smart enough… not something enough, you are calling your Creator a liar and I am pretty sure He doesn’t like to be called that. Every time you dis yourself, you are dissing your Father in heaven. Way to go.

    This is true.

Any thoughts? Something to say? I'd love to hear it.
